In an era of evidence informed practice, evaluation and review is more important than ever. A good report based on a valid and reliable evaluative methodology is a valuable resource and a solid basis for decision making. Sadly, the pressure of time and a lack of expertise often prevent busy practitioners from making the most of such opportunities.
Whether it be a program or project evaluation, a review of a school or team, or a performance appraisal, I can design and deliver a bespoke solution, or participate in existing processes. As part of the process I can build the capacity of your own staff to engage in evaluation activities.
I have conducted numerous commissioned evaluations and reviews over the years, either singly or as part of a team. These include, among others: a review of Catholic education provision in the Kingdom of Tonga; a report on secondary Religious Education in the Diocese of Maitland Newcastle; and a review of the early years of Edmund Rice Education Australia. In the last couple of years I have conducted a review of the Council of Edmund Rice Education Australia, and a major evaluation of the system wide learning agenda for Brisbane Catholic Education. At a school level, I documented the process of change that facilitated the major restructure that led to the formation of Marist Catholic College, Penshurst.
