Review and Evaluation

In an era of evidence informed practice, evaluation and review is more important than ever. A good report based on a valid and reliable evaluative methodology is a valuable resource and a solid basis for decision making. Sadly, the pressure of time and a lack of expertise often prevent busy practitioners from making the most of such opportunities.

Whether it be a program or project evaluation, a review of a school or team, or a performance appraisal, I can design and deliver a bespoke solution, or participate in existing processes. As part of the process I can build the capacity of your own staff to engage in evaluation activities.

I have conducted numerous commissioned evaluations and reviews, either singly or as part of a team. These include, among others: a review of Catholic education provision in the Kingdom of Tonga; report on secondary Religious Education in the Diocese of Maitland Newcastle; a review of Edmund Rice Education Australia; a future directions paper for Corpus Christi Catholic High School in Oak Flats; and  a review of the Columban Mission Institute.  I have chaired or participated in many school and principal reviews, as well as contract renewals for senior staff in Catholic Education Offices. Over thirty publications in books and refereed journals attest to the calibre of my capacity as a researcher and a writer.
